Korean Ginsen has a very long history of use by humans in all areas of the world where it grows. One reason may be that the root of this ancient plant is thought to resemble the human form. Warriors and healers believed that it gave strength and power. Ginseng roots have appendages that resemble a human figure, hence the Mandarin name,Ren Shen, meaning ROOT OF MAN. Both Chinese philosophy and the Doctrine of Signatures states that because ginsengs roots resemble the human form, and is thought to be one of our greatest allies, strengthening the entire structure.
