Benzac AC Wash 5.0% is a proven treatment to treat moderate acne containing acrylates copolymer (ac) beads which act to absorb oils and release glycerine to moisturise dry/irritated skin.

Benzac AC wash is ideal for use on body as an easy to use rub on, leave for 30 seconds and rinse off treatment.

Unblocks pores, blackheads and whiteheads.

Kills up to 94% of acne-causing bacteria.

A daily routine (such as cleanse, treat and moisturise) has been shown to improve acne treatment outcomes and therefore, improve the way you feel about yourself.

Acrylates copolymer, tiny highly porous beads are so porous they can absorb up to four times their own weight in fluid.

They soak up certain liquids quickly and easily, but are selective about what they can absorb.

They can rapidly absorb oils, however, they can’t absorb water because water has a very high surface tension.

The other ac ingredient is glycerin.

This lubricates the skin, imparting a feeling of smoothness and softness.

Indication: For use as an aid in the treatment of acne.

Directions:

Wash affected areas once or twice daily. Rub gently with finger tips and leave in contact with skin for 30 seconds. Rinse off and pat dry.

During the first weeks of treatment a sudden increase in peeling will occur in most patients, this is not harmful and will normally subside within a day or two if treatment is temporarily discontinued.

Warnings:

Patch test before use.

Keep out of reach of children.

Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Avoid contact with eyes.

If contact occurs, rinse well with water.
